The Role:
Legend is hiring a Commercial Operations Data Lead, reporting directly to our Head of Commercial Operations.

The Commercial Operations Data Lead will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of commercial data, supporting strategic decision-making and driving business outcomes. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Operations, this role will be responsible for managing data audits, ensuring high data quality, and facilitating collaboration across various teams, including commercial, data engineering, and finance. The Data Lead will oversee a growing data extraction team, ensuring that all data-related processes are aligned, optimized, and contribute to the operational efficiency of the business.

Your Impact:

    • Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular audits and reconciliations.
    • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between departments (commercial, data engineering, finance) to optimize data processes.
    • Lead continuous improvement initiatives for data quality standards and operational efficiency.
    • Oversee manual extraction and entry of commercial data into internal systems with high accuracy.
    • Conduct weekly and daily quality assurance checks, ensuring the consistency of data across platforms.
    • Track and resolve data discrepancies, ensuring proper logging and escalation.
    • Maintain standardized formats for data outputs and ensure compliance from all partners.
    • Support the onboarding of new team members, enhancing overall team performance.
    • Use tools like JIRA and Kanban boards to manage tasks efficiently, maintaining an audit trail of completed tasks.
    • Provide valuable insights and recommendations for resolving data issues and optimizing commercial data processes.

What You'll Do:

    • Proficiency in working with numbers and conducting basic data analysis.
    • A keen attention to detail, with a strong focus on maintaining process integrity.
    • Familiarity with commercial and account management tools, and data platforms.
    • Strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
    • Effective time management and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
    • A passion for data integrity, with the ability to drive improvements in data governance and quality assurance.
    • Understanding of commercial deal structures.
    • Foundational knowledge of affiliate marketing is an advantage.

The Interview Process:

    • 1st: Initial Chat with Talent Partner (30 mins via Zoom)
    • 2nd: Interview with the Head of Commercial Operations and Senior People Partner (1 hour video via Zoom)
