The Display Marketing Manager is responsible for the development, execution, and optimisation of BVGroup’s display marketing campaigns across multiple brands and regions.
This role requires strategic oversight of display marketing channels, including programmatic advertising, paid social, and in-app advertising. The manager will also play a critical role in identifying and implementing new display opportunities, ensuring campaigns align with broader business goals and drive significant revenue growth.
As a leader within the marketing department, the Display Marketing Manager will oversee a team of display marketing professionals, ensuring campaigns are optimised for maximum performance while managing resources efficiently.
The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of leadership skills, analytical thinking, and hands-on experience in managing large-scale digital marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Development: Lead a team of display marketing executives, ensuring their professional growth and the achievement of individual and team KPIs. Provide guidance and mentorship and set clear objectives that align with BVGroup’s overall marketing strategy. Foster a collaborative and results-driven team environment where innovation and continuous improvement are encouraged.
Campaign Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute the display marketing strategy for BVGroup, ensuring campaigns are tailored to each brand’s specific needs and market conditions. Oversee the planning, creation, and optimisation of display campaigns across paid social, programmatic, and in-app channels. Ensure campaigns are data-driven and focus on key performance metrics such as customer acquisition cost (CAC), return on investment (ROI), and engagement rates.
Cross-Channel Integration: Collaborate closely with other marketing teams, including brand, creative, and user acquisition, to ensure that display marketing efforts are integrated into broader marketing strategies. Work with these teams to ensure consistency in messaging and visual assets across all display channels. Ensure the display campaigns complement other marketing initiatives, such as product launches and promotional campaigns.
New Display Opportunities & Channel Expansion: Proactively seek out new advertising channels, platforms, and technologies that can drive growth and enhance the company’s display marketing capabilities. Implement innovative display strategies to stay competitive in the fast-evolving digital marketing landscape.
Budget & Performance Management: Manage deployment of the display marketing budget, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently to maximise the impact of each campaign. Monitor campaign spend versus performance in real-time, making necessary adjustments to ensure campaigns stay on target. Use performance data to drive decisions that optimise spending and improve overall marketing ROI.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track, analyse, and report on the performance of all display marketing campaigns, using data to evaluate success and identify areas for improvement. Provide regular reports to senior management, outlining campaign performance against key metrics, insights, and recommendations for future campaigns. Utilise analytics tools to provide actionable insights that will inform future campaign strategies.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Maintain strong working relationships with external vendors, including ad tech platforms and media agencies. Ensure that third-party partners deliver to the highest standards and provide BVGroup with maximum value. Collaborate with these partners to implement cutting-edge advertising technologies and optimise campaign performance.
Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure that all display marketing campaigns adhere to industry regulations and BVGroup’s internal policies. Maintain best practices for campaign structure, bidding, and targeting to ensure maximum efficiency and compliance across all campaigns. Lead the team in staying informed about regulatory changes that could impact advertising efforts.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on display advertising, programmatic buying, and paid social.
Proven experience managing large-scale display campaigns with a track record of driving significant business growth through paid channels.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and mentor a team to achieve their goals.
In-depth knowledge of ad tech platforms, including DSPs (Demand-Side Platforms), programmatic tools, and social media advertising platforms such as Facebook Ads and Google Display Network.
Strong analytical skills, with experience using data to optimise campaign performance, manage budgets, and provide actionable insights.
Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously.
A collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally with creative, data, and brand teams to ensure cohesive marketing strategies.
Knowledge of the sports betting, gaming, or entertainment industry is a plus but not required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data and insights to senior stakeholders.
