What is the Opportunity?

This is a once-in-a-career-time opportunity for motivated and learning-oriented young professionals who are eager to start and develop their career path in database administration - highly responsible role in charge of good health of databases that our clients’ businesses depend on. This is an entry-level position where you will learn from the best professionals in the field and sharpen your knowledge working on the latest database technologies. Being part of a supportive team of experienced and helpful senior colleagues, you will collaborate with international teams and clients as you progress on your learning path. 

We welcome applications from fresh university-graduated IT talents and young tech enthusiasts who are willing to:

• Learn and be trained to reach high levels of expertise in Database Administration tasks and procedures
• Work and learn on the latest database technologies from very experienced colleagues
• Expand university database knowledge to become champion of Oracle Enterprise Edition databases on Oracle Exadata hardware on premise, Oracle Cloud Database administration and PostgreSQL Database administration.
• Become an expert in installation, configuration, maintenance, optimisation, performance tuning, migration, upgrading, patching, backup and recovery of Oracle and Postgres databases.

We will give you all you need to become a database administration expert, but we believe that your chances to successfully embrace this role will be better if you bring personal attitude and professional background that we’ll extra value, such as:

• Genuine commitment to pursue your career in database administration
• University level technical knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems and Oracle or PostgreSQL databases
• Basic technical skills with databases and basic familiarity with basic administering operations
• Completed University degree in electrical engineering, mathematics, IT or related field
• Up to 2 years of sustainable experience in database administration
• Good communication skills, team spirit and goal-oriented approach
• Advanced English writing and communication competence
