The Role:
Reporting to the Head of Product, the Lead Product Manager will manage a team
of Product Managers working in the gbp Evolution program. They will also assist
the Head of Product in setting the product direction and vision for the gbp
product.
You will be obsessed with how Flutter’s various brands use ‘gbp’ to power their
sportsbook products, using data and insights to ensure the delivery of the gbp
Evolution aligns to business value.
You will work closely with the brand Product teams to align and prioritise brand
needs as part of the overall gbp evolution program. Additionally, you will engage
with a broader community of product managers across the Flutter group to share
and leverage best practice of product craft.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Global Collaboration: Facilitate global forums to understand the evolving
needs of our brands, and join insight to create, and align on, the most valuable
opportunities for gbp
Product Strategy: Facilitate forums to evolve the OKRs for gbp evolution,
aligned to the Sportsbook & Trading product vision. Ensure squads have a deep
understanding of OKRs and how their products can evolve to meet them. Get to
know your brands and understand their needs and jobs to be done. Understand
the competitive landscape by carrying out regular research and analysis
Product Development Lifecycle ́PDLC’: Your team will be leading
specific gbp evolution initiatives, and performing the product
management responsibilities withing the PDLC, will be up to you to be
able to have an articulated view of the whole and understand where
improvements can be made alongside delivery and engineering.
Run of Products: Monitor the performance of the entire gbp evolution program,
including return on investment, delivery effectiveness, future proofing, and OKR
progression, feeding findings into long-term strategy
Transparency: Create transparency with stakeholders and program leadership
on progress towards OKRs, including priorities and roadmap updates, validation
of product changes, operational KPIs and customer feedback
Mentorship: Coach and mentor product people through the product delivery
lifecycle process. Feed into the wider product community for sharing knowledge
and experiences. Support your team members development and career
progression.
Leadership: In partnership with the Engineering and Delivery, you will lead with
a people first approach; building and maintaining a strong culture within risk and
helping to create a working environment of positive relations. You will also
contribute to the ongoing success of the overall Sporstbook&Trading through
partnering with other leaders to prioritise and address common challenges.
