Principal Business Analyst Lead

What you’ll do:

Requirement Capture & Planning  

• Conduct Stakeholder analysis, working with key internal partners and subject matter experts across the global organisation to build high level requirements for the entire asset:  

•  identify & document the high-level business & customer requirements (functional and non-functional) for the product  

•  build a detailed gaps analysis verses what exists today  

• Work with Technical team to condense gaps and requirements into a logical and prioritised backlog that would optimise the build approach, based on dependences and value generation to support Iterative roll out 

• Review detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) created by the product team to ensure they meet the high level requirements and are of the sufficient detail and quality to build user stories from 

• Partner with Technical teams to ensure Technical solutions are in place and support the all requirements  

• Provide thought and strategic leadership across the entire analysis life cycle within an Agile   
  product development framework, supporting our internal partners with feedback and advice to improve their analytical abilities .and processes  

• Become an expert in the vertical with which you are working by immersing yourself in the product, the digital and customer experience  

Plan Execution  

• Be a key team member at project initiation, assisting with setting the   
  strategy and scope of the project.   

• Work with the local teams/brands and the programme leadership teams to review current challenges, uncover root causes, recommend course correction, and implement strategies to support implementation effectiveness based on feedback  

• Understand RAID, proactive escalation of risk with mitigation analysis   
  and recommendations.  

• Share the detail behind your analysis with appropriate stakeholders, define and communicate any key issues  

• Share and leverage process knowledge and experiences across the team/group to support and potentially deliver other transformational activities 

What you’ll bring:

• Principal BA experience within a scaled agile development methodology environment  

• Bring a deep understanding and experience of Business Analysis best practice  

• Naturally collaborative with a strong commitment to encouraging cross-functional problem solving and decision making to realise outcomes and build trust   

• An analytical and inquisitive mind-set with the ability to analyse complex problems, determine solutions, and produce tangible outcomes  

• Ability to maintain a balance between short-term delivery and longer-term strategy  

• Highly organised and self-motivated, with a demonstrable history of   
  ownership, responsibility and accountability.  

• A pragmatic outlook with a strong focus on delivery, and a desire to see a job  
  through to conclusion  

• Excellent networking, communication and influencing skills, comfortable   
  operating at all levels of an organisation  

• Experience working In virtual teams with virtual product and development squads a plus  

• Experience and work knowledge of Poker Including Online Poker Products not essential but a significant plus
