What you will work on
- Manage a product development team as a Product Owner
- Act as the interface between the business and the development team
- Ensure that the development teams are always fully aligned with the strategy of the company and the product vision
- Contribute to the creation of the roadmap
- Manage the teamโs backlog
- Gather requirements and conduct analysis for business/product requests
- Negotiate with the stakeholders and the development team to make trade-offs between project scope and delivery time
- Follow a lean approach for the requirements analysis: create crisp product requirement documents (PRDs),ย share them early with the team to get feedback and collaborate on the analysis and scope definition
- Breakdown requests to smaller chunks of work (epics, stories) and communicate them with the development team
- Write clear user stories and acceptance criteria and work with the development team to estimate them
- Follow the pareto principle: deliver 80% of the solution in 20% of the time
- Ensure that the team moves fast through all the phases of product development
- Lead the development teamโs capacity calculation and planning
- Oversee the development cycle and communicate progress to stakeholders
- Facilitate the team meetings when needed
- Remove any impediments for the team
- Ensure the quality of the delivered features
What you bring
- BSc/MSc degree in relevant Information Technology subject
- At least 3 years of experience as product owner, product manager or project manager, preferably in game tech
- Experience running medium to large/complex projects with multiple dependencies using Agile (Scrum) processes in planning, implementation and support of business application components, including change & release management
- PMP or Prince II or Scrum certification is desirable
- Team management experience is desirable
- Sufficient level of technical background in software development will be considered as a plus
- Gaming market knowledge will be considered as a plus
- Excellent communication skills, especially with stakeholders and leadership, that allow to understand product strategy and anticipate needs
- Time management skills
- English language (both verbal and written)
