WE LOVE OUR WORK.

  • Responsible for the creation and management of all property promotions and events; consisting of slot tournaments, brand promotions, drawings, gift giveaways, property events, and VIP events.
  • Ensures all promotions and events operate according to the rules, and that department processes and procedures are followed.
  • Partners well with other department leaders and contributes to overall property goals and KPI’s.
  • Impressive attention to detail and ability to work within a multitude of systems.
  • Quickly learns and adapts to department tools and technology that are required to complete the job.
  • Creates strategic plans, reinvestment strategy, and promotional calendars to successfully achieve department revenue targets.
  • Reviews media used to communicate current and upcoming promotional efforts for the guests.
  • Develops, implements, and manages operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives for promotions and events.
  • Responsible for assisting in the budget process for the department and provide recommendations; ensuring compliance to departmental budget initiatives; reporting budget concerns to management.
  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
  • Enhance guest interactions by providing a friendly greeting, offering directions, answering questions, making announcements, and creating an upbeat and positive atmosphere.
  • Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to leadership.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license
  • Knowledge of federal, state and gaming laws and regulationspreferred
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of and experience in promotions planning and execution preferably within a casino environment with a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, journalism, communication, advertising or related field preferred
  • In-depth understanding of the management and operations of all casino and tourism
  • Superb organizational skills
  • Customer service and stage presence skills and stage presence. 

These skills and abilities are typically acquired through a bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, Advertising or Public Relations or related discipline and a minimum of three years’ experience in promotions preferably within a casino environment or an equivalent combination of training, education and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.

STARTING SALARY

Starting at $60,000, based on experience.
