The Role

As Sports Betting Content Editor, you will help shape our content for our loyal users who rely on informative, reliable, and engaging content. We are in pursuit of becoming the world’s #1 online sports betting authority, and content is at the heart of what we do.  

Your Impact

    • Commission, edit, and write a variety of content (including sportsbook reviews, state-specific commercial briefs, bonus and promo features, picks and news pieces) that’s published on our sites for millions of users to enjoy. 
    • Write headlines, teasers, and metadata and follow best SEO publishing practices.
    • Proofread, line edit, and SEO copy edit text to match the tone and clarity our audience expects and trusts. 
    • Brief and liaise with freelance writers to ensure they meet expectations and deadlines. 
    • Follow editorial publishing and promotional schedules, as well as coordinate with product and marketing/sales departments on dedicated projects.
    • Promote editorial content via social media – Twitter, Facebook, Instagram – and distribute dedicated content to publishing partners and affiliates
    • Work as part of a high-performing product team and collaborate with colleagues to deliver key objectives that greatly impact the success of the company. You will work closely with the Project Management, SEO, UX, and Engineering teams on a daily basis. 

What You'll Bring

    • A strong understanding of sports betting markets and odds is essential. Experience in a competitive industry, such as sports information, is highly desirable but not mandatory.
    • Relevant experience in a similar role of editing and creating digital commercial content for a website with a strong understanding of AP writing style guide.
    • Working knowledge of SEO and understanding of impact on content performance.
    • Excellent spelling and grammar with acute attention to detail and article structure 
    • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a "can do" attitude. Be self-motivated and imaginative, taking initiative and working both independently and collaboratively as a team player. Embrace an improvement mindset, constantly learning and innovating to achieve your best self.

    • A  team player mentality and the ability to work collaboratively is a must. You will also excel at working independently and have the opportunity to take ownership of tasks. 

The Interview Process

    • 1st: Initial Chat with Talent Partner (30 mins via Zoom)
    • 2nd: Interview with Content Manager and Sr. Content Editor
    • 3rd: Editing assignment - you will be given 48 hours to complete the task and send it back for us to review
    • 4th: Final Interview with our team
