What’s the position?

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Trading Performance to lead and align our Core Trading, Real-Time Analysis (RTA), and Trading Event Control teams. This role is central to the success of our sportsbook, ensuring efficient execution, real-time responsiveness, and risk-balanced decision-making across the entire trading function.

You will oversee how markets are managed, how pricing strategy is executed, and how trading teams respond to customer behavior and market volatility. The ideal candidate will be a data-led leader who can drive performance, elevate operational standards, and influence our pricing strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and scale high-performing teams with strong internal processes, defined KPIs, and clear accountability
• Develop the leadership pipeline and support long-term growth through coaching and structure
• Oversee the accurate and timely execution of pricing, bet acceptance, market lifecycle management, and in-play trading
• Ensure processes support a competitive and engaging sportsbook offering while maintaining control of liability and exposure
• Streamline and scale workflows through automation, tooling, and process enhancements in partnership with product
• Analyze sportsbook performance data to optimize profitability and market positioning
• Influence pricing adjustments and strategic changes by providing insight into customer behavior, market inefficiencies, and trading execution
• Ensure our pricing and market execution remain sharp, risk-aware, and aligned to customer segments
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external pricing partners
• Ensure operational controls are in place to protect against pricing errors, excessive exposure, and regulatory breaches
• Partner with compliance to ensure state-specific regulatory requirements are met across all markets and events
• Own the resolution process for incidents or integrity concerns tied to trading activity or market content
• Act as the senior liaison between trading and teams including Player Revenue, BI, Compliance, Product, and VIP
• Provide leadership input into the product roadmap and sportsbook strategy
• Represent trading in senior planning, audits, and leadership forums

• Senior-level leadership experience across multiple trading disciplines
• Strong expertise in market execution, risk management, customer behavior, and regulatory frameworks
• Experience managing teams working with both in-house pricing and third-party feeds.
• Commercial mindset with a deep understanding of margin, exposure, hold, and market competitiveness
• Skilled communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive cross-functional initiatives
• Proven ability to balance performance, compliance, and customer engagement in a trading environment
