As Video Editor, you will play a pivotal role in our creative team, contributing to the seamless production of compelling visual content. Reporting to the Director of Production, you will be responsible for crafting engaging videos across various platforms. Your role involves editing raw footage, enhancing audio-visual elements, and collaborating with the creative team to bring concepts to life. Additionally, you will ensure that the final product aligns with our brand standards and quality expectations.

You will work closely with internal producers, designers, and external partners, to deliver impactful branded video content. Your ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and stay updated on industry trends will be crucial in contributing to the success of our visual storytelling initiatives

What will you do?

• Edit and arrange raw footage to create seamless and visually appealing videos.
• Enhance visual and audio elements to meet quality standards.
• Add special effects, graphics, and animations as needed.
• Contribute creative ideas during pre-production to enhance the overall storytelling process.
• Transform concepts and scripts into visually engaging sequences.
• Ensure that the final product aligns with the Hard Rock Bet's brand guidelines and meets quality standards.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, new editing technologies, and software to continuously improve skills and techniques.
• Implement best practices for video editing and post-production processes.
• Work closely with Director of Production, producers and social to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Input sound to supplement footage which may include sfx, music/track selection and VO overlay

What are we looking for?

• 3-5 years of experience as a Video Editor or similar role.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of cinematography and storytelling techniques.
• Creative mindset with an eye for detail and a passion for visual storytelling.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with motion graphics, 3D animation and special effects is a plus.
• A portfolio showcasing previous video editing work.
• Passion for sports and/or interactive gaming is a plus.
