Associate Trader - Racing

Looking for a flexible part-time role with the potential to turn into a permanent position? Are you passionate about sports with a knack for numbers?  As a Trading Associate you’ll have the opportunity to combine your love for both, whilst providing valuable support to our Trading team.

What you’ll do

As a Trading Associate, you will support our racing trading teams in monitoring and adjusting prices for all betting events and assist with the risk management of books.

• Set and adjust betting odds for various horse racing events.
• Manage customer accounts and betting requests to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Monitor race results and manage risks by adjusting betting lines as needed.
• Keep a watchful eye on the events that customers are betting on.
• Provide real-time updates and support to traders when unexpected developments occur.

What You’ll Bring

You don't need experience in the banking and finance industry to excel in this role. What matters most is your enthusiasm and a few key qualities:

• Strong numerical skills that will make you a force to be reckoned with.
• Excellent communication skills that allow you to shine in a collaborative environment.
• The ability to process large amounts of information and make crucial decisions, all in the blink of an eye.
• Great attention to detail, ensuring nothing escapes your notice.
• Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously.
