A taste of what you’ll do
The Payments, Risk, and AML Trainer plays a key role in enhancing the quality of AML investigations within the P&R operations team. Reporting to the Head of Department, the trainer is responsible for developing and maintaining the department's knowledge base in alignment with company policies.
- Being a strong team-player within the Payment & Risk department when they need assistance, guidance and education to ensure they are proactively and correctly solving queries
- Developing and delivering the induction training for all new Payments & Risk Analysts
- Developing and delivering any necessary training for new and existing Payment & Risk team members
- Identifying individual and team skill gaps, creating development plans, delivering refreshment training and up-skilling analysts to be fully competent at the end of probation
- Creating and maintaining documentation for various new and existing processes
- Creating and maintaining training tools such as training handbooks, manuals and workshops
- Conducting regular contact monitoring (quality checking) of the Payment and Risk team, analysing the results and making recommendations to the Team Leader
- Working closely with all internal teams and departments to ensure that the Payment & Risk team provides the highest quality and is in line with regulations and process
Who and what we are after?
- You have knowledge of the different types of risk exposure of the business
- Have solid experience in customer risk assessments, EDD and AML rules and regulations within the gaming industry
- You enjoy learning and have a genuine interest in iGaming
- You have excellent analytical skills and a curious mindset that questions why and challenges the status quo
- You are an agile thinker and have a knack for numbers, data, processes, and procedures
- Be excellent team player who can work on their own initiative
- Have a genuine interest in supporting the team and addressing their struggles
- Have a positive can-do attitude and a flexible approach
- Ability to learn new technology/systems/applications quickly
- Be an excellent communicator in both verbal and written English
- Relevant academic background in risk and payments would be considered as an asset
