As an SEO Specialist, you will execute the Search Engine Optimisation Strategy in partnership SEO management, analysing, and tracking all relevant data, and implementing tasks to deliver on our roadmap. In this role, you will work closely with the rest of the SEO Team – including collaborating with other Specialists – as well as external suppliers to provide SEO guidance and ensure positive SEO performance for site changes and improvements.

The ideal SEO Specialist has excellent problem-solving skills and an expert understanding of SEO best practices to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively to a non-SEO audience. You will have excellent organisational skills, ability to manage multiple projects, as well as being a strategic thinker who is very hands on and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a strong understanding of SEO. The perfect candidate will be passionate about iGaming and have a real understanding of how to direct traffic in the iGaming industry.

What you’ll be doing

As part of your role, your responsibilities will include:

Duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Deliver SEO projects autonomously or as directed by SEO Management
  • Manage SEO best practices across assigned brands to ensure highest possible optimisation levels.
  • Monitor performance daily using Google Search Console to ensure you are fully up to date with how your brands are performing.
  • Inform SEO management of any significant ranking shifts – positive or negative – at once.
  • Implement the SEO roadmap to prioritize plans in line with business & SEO goals.
  • Evaluate different tactics to inform strategic decisions for SEO Management
  • Collaborate closely with team leads & managers to guide on opportunities and inform spend.
  • Manage external SEO supplier relationships and source new SEO suppliers.
  • Manage and improve the SEO activity workflow, through prioritisation, frameworks, and best practice.
  • Define goals and KPIs for your brands and deliver reporting to measure success aligned with the SEO strategies.
  • Convert SEO strategies into actionable plans that can be executed by the SEO Specialists.
  • Find and highlight SEO opportunities to Team Leads for adoption into the overall strategies.

Team-wide Expectations:

  • Share knowledge derived from projects and research with fellow team members; coach and develop other members of the team.
  • Report SEO KPI performance back to the business and explaining reasons for growth or decline including outcome of actions taken and development actions needed.
  • Take time to properly learn topics and deliverable processes to enhance work rate without compromising quality.
  • Stay up to date on market trends and relevant industry news to suggest new SEO projects based on goals, and past performance.
  • Raise issues, opportunities and competitor insights obtained from utilising tools such as Screaming Frog, SEMrush and GSC
  • Promote SEO awareness and best practice across the organization including educating business stakeholders.
  • Consult with internal stakeholders and build effective working relationships.
  • Manage expectations on delivery of work, accurately estimate deadlines and know when to ask for help.
  • Develop ability in using SEO tools EG Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Majestic, Screaming Frog
  • Finding and sharing growth opportunities to increase ranking and traffic to the site.
  • Detailed understanding of ranking and financial reports based on specific projects with the ability to provide one liner updates when needed.
  • Contributing ideas to help develop and grow the SEO team.
  • Collaboration with external departments and teams including translations, creative studio, external content suppliers, acquisition Dev and QA
  • Analysing SEO performance and deciding how to amend content to best refine performance.
  • Be accountable for the performance of your projects.

 Essential skills you’ll bring to the table

The necessary skills that we require for this role include:

  • Spanish as home/first language
  • Fluent in English; able to communicate effectively (read, write and speak fluently)
  • Basic web development experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, CMS)
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, graphs, and formulas
  • Previous experience and knowledge in Digital Marketing and SEO
  • Website development understanding and a working knowledge of basic HTML
  • Minimum 3 years of SEO experience
  • Working knowledge of ranking & financial reports and systems
  • Able to perform Onsite and visual QCs.
  • Experience with Content Management Systems (such as WordPress)
  • Understanding of Google Analytics and Search Console
  • Experience with SEMRush/Ahrefs/Data Studio/Screaming Frog
